Biography:                          

Ellie joined the Unit in October 2007 after previously working for Sunderland City Council as an Emergency Planning & Response Assistant.  She also has a physical science background, primarily in severe weather, meteorology and climatology. 

Ellie assists the other Civil Contingencies Officers in their duties, focusing mainly on Business Continuity Management, particularly for the Unit and sitting on the Business Continuity Management Joint Agency Project Group (JAPG) and is also involved in resilient communications, the health sector and planning for the Staffordshire Resilience Forum Conference 2008.
