Biography:

Jim is an experienced Civil Contingencies Officer and has been with the CCU and its predecessors since 1988.  His main role is to provide specialist support, advice and guidance to Staffordshire County Council.

Jim has successfully completed courses at the Emergency Response Institute (UK) including the Exercise Design Course for Emergency Operations and the Advanced Search Management and Field Skills Courses.  Jim also holds a Diploma in Emergency Planning.

Outside the CCU, Jim is a member of the Staffordshire Emergency Services Humanitarian Aid Association and has undertaken projects to help develop the Fire Services in Blantyre in Malawi and Sokolow Malopolski in Poland.
