Biography:
Steve joined the unit in October 2005 on completion of 23 years military service with the Army. The majority of his military service was conducted in the operations rooms ranging from the Ministry of Defence Crisis Management Organisation/Joint Operations Centre at Whitehall, to detachment operations rooms whilst on overseas operational deployments.
Steve is primarily responsible for providing specialist advice, support and guidance to the CCU's NHS stakeholders in the county. In addition, Steve sits on the Joint Agency Project Group for Information Sharing and Communicating with the Public and Chairs the Telecommunications Sub Group. He is the Author of the Critical / Major Incident Resilient Operational Communication Plan.
Currently Steve is managing the refit project of the Mobile Command Unit on behalf of the Local Authorities and Helath Economies, an asset which could be used in the event of an emergency giving mobile command and control facilities.
