Biography

Steve joined the Unit in April 2008 following 33 years service with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service where he obtained the rank of Group Manager.  For the last 5 years Steve worked as Regional Coordinator of the Government's New Dimensions Resilience Programme. 

During his years with the Fire and Rescue Service Steve saw deployment to numerous locations including Carlisle, Buncefield, Ulley Reservoir, Hull, Doncaster and most recently Tewksbury and Gloucester floods in 2007. 

Steve is responsible for preparing and managing the SRF Training & Exercise Calendar.
