Biography:
William is a Civil Contingencies Officer and has written key plans on a wide range of subjects in support of the CCU's stakeholders. He currently provides specialist advice support and guidance to Tamworth Borough Council, East Staffordshire Borough Council and Staffordshire County Council.
As Chair of the Joint Agency Project Group for Emergency Planning and the Voluntary Sector William is responsible for co-ordinating the diverse work programme of the JAPG. William has responded to many emergency incidents and has experience of establishing and operating Local Authority rest centers. The Staffordshire Recovery Plan is currently being prepared to outline the procedures to enable Staffordshire to recover in the aftermath of a major incident, including flooding.
